What an amazing dog Click is growing up to be. He brings more happiness to my life than I could have ever imagined. His happy attitude and smiling face are highly contagious! He is the perfect blend of wired drive when needed, and sweet and cuddly when it's time to chill. Click is everything I was ever looking for in a dog and more. He keeps me laughing and inspires me to do more - I do truly aspire to being able to throw the ball as far as he seems to think I'm capable of!
Click and I plan to trial in Agility and herding, and have gotten off to a good start with his Canine Good Citizen title. Click has "nature" (excellent genes) standing beind him all the way; we'll have to see if "nurture" (training) comes through enough to make us a competive team in both herding and Agility!
Click has a lovely temperment - very easy going, sociable, and friendly with other dogs. With humans, he has never met a stranger and truly believes everyone comes to our house just to visit him! He has a "cool cucumber" personality; not much gets under his skin, and he is not at all sound sensetive or fearful of anything.
In his work, Click is driven, powerful, and biddable. He gives 110% in everything, and would train all day if he could. He is a true Kamikaze, as he loves to do everything at mach speed with no regard for life or limb. If breaking one's leg at 3 months old doesn't prove this, I don't know what does. He is not, however, a frantic or crazied Border Collie, as so many of these high drive performance Border Collies are nowadays.
In the house, Click is my shadow - with a ball constantly in his mouth. He is very perserverant with his ball, and is so kind as to place it right in your hand if you didn't happen to notice it in your lap. He will go chill when told, although typically shows up shortly after with some other object for tossing - I'm not sure why he thinks I'm going to throw the 5 lb knuckle bone! He is always ready for some action, but he sleeps just as hard as he plays. He is not obnoxios or hard to live with, and is quite content curled up at my feet - if I'm sure I don't want to play ball with him.
To sum it up, Click couldn't be any better in my opinion, and I love him and all his cute little quirks with all my heart!
